I have never heard of Thulite but so glad I was guided to it! As far as written history states, it was found in 1820 in Sauland, Telemark, Norway and named after the mythical island of Thule. Worn as a gemstone and carving material to create other jewelry and various objects. It is truly beautiful gemstone and all the hues of pink are truly fabulous. I believe this piece reflects those hues. This month I decided to have a pink mood with my work because I really have been loving the colour pink lately. Perfect timing as  February is here.
