This is simply a painting of an Ojo de Dios or God's Eye. These are normally made out of various coloured yarns, woven in diamond design on a wooden cross. They are mostly found in certain Latin communities, mostly in Mexico and the Southwest. To say the very least, they are made to bless and protect reflecting the confidence of God's Divine Providence. There is much more rich history and tradition(s) to this and I would definitely invite you to look deeper into this beautiful spiritual art form. I made yarn versions back in the 70's and presently still teach children (and others lol) to make Ojo de Dios and it is amazing to see simple activities are still enjoyed in a tech age. I noticed the males enjoyed making them the most!
